I'll add one one item I failed to mention in addition to my short code narrative. As the energy codes turn homes into refrigerators, or sealed, insulated boxes, the incidence of airborne contamination and sickness is rising dramatically. A "tight envelope" does not permit any ambient air exchange to take place. So unless it's a perfect day outdoors, and you can throw the windows wide open indefinitely, you'll require a mechanical means of exchange. Always unnecessarily complicated, at an additional cost, and at the expense of the energy you were ultimately attempting to conserve. It's laughable. While mold grows, and people get sicker of course.

This is about protecting entrenched wealth. They blew a huge bubble in securitizing mortgage debt, made billions off the securitization, then when defaults began piling up making their debt piles stink more they got .gov to bail them out and the fed began buying up all that crap at marked to fantasy valuations.

Make no mistake this is further protection for the banks, to hide their malfeasance, and to screw you further. Perhaps even to revoke your personal right to own a home.

nikkuh please- We've been homeless since 2010. One eviction from a slumlord and we've not found one person who'll rent to us since. We are four living in a motel room. And now Beelzobama wants to tell me what I can live in and how I can live? FUCK HIM!!!

a lot of those people moved to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, Muskegon and Grand Rapids....the crime rate has gone up in all those areas. the Grand Rapids thugs have been on the move to darken and victimize many people in the N,E,S and W. of GR... Kentwood crime rate has gone up a lot. It used to be a very nice community...

Trying to keep people safe from illness and injury in their homes, how evil. And didn't say anything in that article about anyone forcing anyone to have a safe home, just like they can't force you to eat something, with schools banning packed lunches being an exception.

And while were crammed into these small units the people who push this standard of living are living in GIANT MANSIONS

The government and their cottage industries. We know how "alternative energy" has worked out. Their pathetic attempt to save energy will predictably end the same way. Regardless, when you control the generation and consumption of energy, you have the ability to control lives and industries. And it's all about CONTROL.

It's always been difficult to communicate this to customers: Compliance costs money. Period. If you're a liberal voter, you should celebrate signing checks as fast as you can tear them from your checkbook. Ideologies have consequences, as do elections.

No one has any problem with the intent, it is the abuse of

I'd like to know how that is going to happen.Apartments are not affordable where I live and houses aren't and very few if any coming on the market only big expensive ones, no one selling and also no affordable senior housing either if you don't get section 8 or whatever it is called these days.
So how is this going to happen, healthy housing ??
and what do you do when your savings run out and only income left in your Social security which is no security at all? And why is it that i have to pay 99% percent of my check to my landlord and empty savings and still I get nothing. Do they call living in your car Healthy housing, it's probably better then what I live in now.
