Yes, my dogs have gotten out very rarely over the years, VERY rarely. Even though it's rare, it's still MY fault and not the dog's.

If a dog is getting out frequently, the owner needs to be flogged.

I feed my Golden carrots and apples as snacks sometimes because a lot of dog treats are processed or very rich. The veggies are good for them and very healthy snacks. This is a great way to reward your dog without making him fat:)

As long as she is not forcing her dog to be a vegetarian only it sounds fine.

Also, if she doesn't know you and your feeding her dog, why do you assume she knows the food you have is not poisoned? A lot of shady people leave harmful food around parks up here, you never know, our dogs can't tell the difference, its up to us to make sure what they ingest is safe.

Bottom line, you don't get to decide what other people feed their pets. Get to know your neighbor and build up some trust.

Grain is bad for humans and we're actually ominorvous..dogs are mainly CARNIVOROUS although a dietary supplement of vegetables and fruits are GREAT for dogs...

Bloat is especially dangerous in larger breeds LIKE labs and other barrel-chested dogs.

Bloat will kill a dog, it is extremely painful, their stomach/intestines will knot themselves over and over until no food can be processed by the dog.

A dog can die from bloat in a few hours, it is an extremely difficult condition to treat, even if it is caught in time.

HENCE why it's ALWAYS a good idea to avoid behaviors/foods that can EASILY cause the condition.

Every dog food i have looked at contains corn, wheat, or barley.

My dad was a farmer and you can always find where coyotes ate the corn right off the stalk.

We even sold our corn to be used in dog food.

Yes, bread can be bad for any dog. It can possibly bind thier intestines so bad that it needs to be surgically removed.

Also, chicken bones can be bad by easily splintering and can pierce the stomach or intestines.

I had a huge German Shepherd and at one point he was gaining a LOT of weight. I couldn't figure this out cause I was at work all day and he was home alone. Long story short...it was revealed to me some guy bought the home across the street from mine to flip and as soon as he saw me leave for work, would take my dog over to HIS house to keep him company and feed him crap all day. I didn't get angry....but told him to get his own dog.

Some dogs have deficiencies where you should feed them very minimal grain/wheat (bread being that). How do you know this ladies dog doesn't have a deficiency and can't have grains?

I have a dog which I should not be feeding it grains and must get grain free food.
