Digital Deception; Can You Trust What You See?

So the original flag that was raised on the hill was a small one that wasn't visible from afar. The Navy Commander requested that a larger flag be raised so that everyone would know who was in control of the island (sorta... fighting continued for over a month).

Due to the lack of ore for Japan, all their plumbing was done in lead pipes. So when the soldiers attempted to raise the new, larger flag, it literally took 6 men to raise the large lead pipe into the air with the new flag attached. The fact that it was a second raising is staged, but it was a 6 man effort to get that flag up.

Regarding the topic of the post itself, yes, you cannot believe your eyes anymore.

You can't trust anything on Television.

Green screens are rampant everywhere, as are the studios.

The news is mostly just stories now, sent down from the top. Why else would supposed individual networks air the exact same stories, at the exact same time, with the exact same talking points. Sometimes word for word. We have seen this many times.

And for sure, the deception is ADVERTISERS get the news/pr - it is that simple, 85% of the time. You pay, you play.

Yes there is it's called common sense.

This has been going on for decades: WWII events; JFK; 9/11; recent mass murders, yadda, yadda, yadda. Mass (media) programming, since the invention of still photographs, tptb's weapon of choice.

I told of experiences my daughters, sister, nephew and my wife & me had after my mom died. They tried to get me to say, "I thought I saw" instead of I or we did see. After the show I asked for a copy of the segment. They told me that it would be on their website and you tube. They had 2 segments, part 1 & part 2 which is what I was on. They posted part 1 twice instead of part 2. I was rather curious as to why they didn't want my story aired. Rather strange.

actually i personaly find it hard to believe most people think all those movies and series are recorded on the streets in real life? and the burning and crashing stuff is all real.

Clearly most of the dramatic news events, especially recently, are entirely fabricated and manufactured, with little basis in reality. Been really getting out of hand since the first Obama presidential race.

What's even more disturbing though, is the actual news and events that the MSM does not cover and ignore.

I too work in a closely related field - the amount of money required to do widespread fakery would be prohibitive inmho.

That video does really understate the amount of skill and expertise required to composite those shots.

Camera matching is pretty easy but the lighting, grading and masking is very time consuming and expensive.

But that said - that doesn't mean that it hasn't/does/will happened/happen - for the big stuff, just not everyday....

dont you guys recall the occupy wall st footage of NYC? the media showed mass mobs - streets filled and some ac posted a live google satellite shot, same fkn cab parked et al etc - the fkn ppl were photoshopped IN the media coverage.

Well very true, however we have the right to expect the news to be the truth!

Ugh. How poignantly and painfully true. However, I believe there is more weight and power to a mind which is aware. It can take just one person to open the door which can never be closed.
