Where is your "line in the sand" and why??

every time i see someone agresed by the system the line is drawn..

We are not a culture of violence.

We are educated. We talk think and write.

I would have to disagree.. while the human race has always had use for violence (hunting/war for resources/religion) it hasnt always been a victim of violent "culture" .. no in this instant gratification society where everything is viral in minutes.. we CRAVE violence and sex.. its intertwoven into everything.. I was watching "The Walking Dead" and after watching two season, i couldnt believe the amount of violence in that show. (Especially where kid shoots mother in the head.. WOW thats messed up to show on tv) It started to make me truly realize how much violence plays a roll in society.. Games for kids, simulated violence as play, movies that sell the idea of death for a cause and noble purpose... music glorifies murder and materialism leading to violence..

we truly ARE a culture of violence.. we should be MORE educated.. we should TALK and THINK MORE - it seems we are doing it less and less these days in all honesty..

I live in Oklahoma next to all the oil, :) anyways I told everyone in our family that once gas hits 4.00 a gallon, we are having a family meeting. The meeting will let me know who is on board and who doesn't give a shit. I already know for the most part, but this will let me verbaly tell everyone that whoever isn't going to start to prep, don't looked stunned when they need help and they don't get what they think they deserve. Not everyone in my family is convinced that something is going to happen, well I can only warn them for so long. This may sound harsh and selfish, but I think they are being the same for not taking precautions. Just my point of view.

i like it and frankly i agree!!! 4.00 a gallon isnt far off as the price of gas has shot up in the past month... and none of this "making the summer blend" bull crap... G20 meeting revealed a HUGE pull back from the dollar.. China is waging and winning financial war against the petro dollar.. we are fuked.. and sooner than we think!! Carry on friend!

Dont have that luxurury , Im taking care of two senior citizens that have no clue and Il have to hold the fort where I am! My line in the sand is anyone who comes to my front door looking for trouble! They shall find it! Im a peaceful man , one has to be a retard to not see what is happening in this country! I drove coast to coast last year in a car! Only then do realy grasp how economicly screwed up our country is? Its just unreal! Still cant believe it!
