Why? because if they had, they would have claimed that it had died and just shown the parents a stock body. That story would cause them less hassles if they were stealing babies. However, the most logical conclusion you can draw from this story is that the woman did actually suffer from a mental disease and there was no baby. Quoting: Requiem logic has its purposes. spot on! Then why did they cut her open? For shits and giggles? They would of had to shown the mother the baby if it had passed away & where do you get a stock baby from? This story is very weird. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 16479214 Australia 02/17/2013 06:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My reply on the other thread about this..I whizzed past this one..sorry Hmmm..my mother neighbour was pregnant with twins, I saw the scans, she and her hubby were very excited, due to the fact that she was told that she would never be able to get preggers. The scan photos clearly showed twins...clearly, she had the scans done at about 7 months. At eight months she came over to my mothers house, she was very upset because the twins were gone. No miscarriage, no birth, no pain...nothing..just gone. The doctors said it must have been a phantom pregnancy My mother is an ex midwife and no fool We looked at the scans again and there were defiantly two babies a month prior They had simply vanished |

Growth like things are removed all the time. If it was an alleged baby, Perhaps the Occultists needed an fresh human sacrafice. Perhaps it was the Anti-Christ? Perhaps it was the Spawn of Satan? Perhaps it was a parasitic Alien Hybrid that Eats Human Flesh, and Brains? Perhaps all of the above? |

Quoting: LittleMissDictator However to me, her tummy does not look like that of a pregnant woman. Weird. This. As a slender mom of 4, I KNOW that your navel flattens out or even turns into an 'outtie' during the last trimester at the very latest. Her navel is still concaved and very defined. Odd. I am thin and have had 2 pregnancies, my belly button didnt flatten out or pop out either. Everyone is different. |
Vic-chick13 User ID: 2047195 Canada 02/17/2013 07:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Two things stick out of the article to me. 1- premature separation of the placenta was diagnosed, at the hospital by an obstetrician. 2- the doctor responsible for her pre-natal care has reportedly promised to be a witness against the hospital. If this was a phantom pregnancy, the number of highly trained medical professionals that missed it is staggering. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 34639838 Ireland 02/17/2013 07:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what it sounds like is the ultrasounds showed she didn't have a baby.. but because of her disease, she was still convinced that they did show a baby. If she had a picture of her baby in an ultrasound I think it would say in the story, and usually they give you pictures. Quoting: Requiem I think that she is just crazy, seriously. There are some weird shit things psychosomatic things the mind can do to the body. I'm not sure the mind can do THAT much - however phantom pregnancies have been known.. other circumstances are usually present alongside the woman also 'thinking' she is pregnant. It happened to my mother...didn't know the woman but bumped into her at a funeral when i was 25ish - she had a fair number of pregnancies in her sorry life that her body 'took-on' the appearance of being pregnant - constantly. skinny arms and legs with a huge belly. Mindset of always wanting children, coupled with self-neglect/abuse/psychiatric conditions = possible phantom pregnancy. If this Brazilian woman was carrying a real fetus - this story is skin-shivering. |

The surgeons performing the C probably screwed up and accidentally killed the pour innocent child and are now torturing the mother with lies and guilt to cover their own guilt. She should sue the shit out of them. With ultrasound records she has the evidence. The Aluminated One |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18998054 United States 02/17/2013 09:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After having 4 c-sections myself I have to say that I'm pretty sure of one thing...the doctors at the hospital cannot be telling the truth. Placenta previa would not be presumed unless they had thoroughly checked her and had given her an ultrasound at the hospital. [link to www.marchofdimes.com] ^This^ site says: "How is placenta previa treated? Treatment depends on how far along you are in your pregnancy, the seriousness of your bleeding and the health of you and your baby. The goal is to keep you pregnant as long as possible. Providers recommend cesarean birth (c-section) for nearly all women with placenta previa to prevent severe bleeding. If you are bleeding as a result of placenta previa, you need to be closely monitored in the hospital. If tests show that you and your baby are doing well, your provider may give you treatment to try to keep you pregnant for as long as possible. If you have a lot of bleeding, you may be treated with blood transfusions. A blood transfusion is having new blood put into your body. Your provider also may give you medicines called corticosteroids. These medicines help speed up development of your baby’s lungs and other organs. Your provider may want you to stay in the hospital until you give birth. If the bleeding stops, you may be able to go home. If you have severe bleeding due to placenta previa at about 34 to 36 weeks of pregnancy, your provider may recommend an immediate c-section. At 36 to 37 weeks, your provider may suggest an amniocentesis to test the amniotic fluid around your baby to see if her lungs are fully developed. If they are, your provider may recommend an immediate c-section to avoid risks of future bleeding. At any stage of pregnancy, a c-section may be necessary if you have dangerously heavy bleeding or if you and your baby are having problems." They would have had to make sure that she wasn't miscarrying and also determined the location of the placenta by ultrasound to assure it really was placenta previa. With only her word she was pregnant they would have had to. One wanding of her belly would have prevented any of this article from ever occurring. So I guess the question is...where is the baby? Did the mother have it and try to blame the hospital? Did the hospital flub up? Did her doctor lie to her throughout the pregnancy? Because if she had a sizable placenta then she was closer to term than not...but if it were not large it may be she miscarried (did she know before this she had placenta previa?) and never realized it was gone already in the early months. Is this a scam by the mother and her prenatal care doctor to score a money settlement from the hospital? Or was her little baby born ok and sold to the highest bidder for a cash donation? Such a strange story...also the one poster who said a friend said her twins disappeared in utero. So strange. |

But she certainly has grounds to sue regardless, who preforms random c-sections on women claiming they are pregnant. I think something probably did happen to the baby though. We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented. |
