A woman is shit unless she is skinny as a rail or proportioned like something from a booties and titties magazine. A man is shit unless he has $$$ and drives some fancy car. We live in a brutal, frivolous, sick and demented world that we call "civilization." Men have been choking women for thousands of years but in our society, which is media driven, when a TV personality does it, it's big news. No one wants to read about a woman who works as a secretary, or a dishwasher in a restaurant being beaten by her boyfriend, but touch her with a magic wand and make her a movie star and everyone wants to read about it.

I think it's a great lesson though, which shows that "celebrities" are really not much different from the rest of us in how they live their lives.
