UPDATE Feb 22nd: Another Patient dies of mysterious SARS-like virus ...54% death rate...can they keep it from spreading?

This crap is already over here. It's so bad in northwest Ohio that the doctors are telling us to stay at home and take regular flu meds. I've had it for 5 days now and my chest just keeps burning. This is not a joke...I called the docs to make an appointment only for them to tell me I had the "influenza" going around. They said it's highly contagious and they will only have me come in if I still have it after 10 days. My mother and brother have had this for over a week now and they say the burning cough is the worst part.

I wonder if the UK will use this national health crisis as a jumping off point to begin deporting Muslims, recent immigrants, and anyone who is still sucking off the state dole after being in the UK for more than three years.?? There is a HUGE amount of anti-Arab sentiment and an even larger amount of anti-muslim feeling in the UK. Something like this virus could give them a quasi-valid medical reason for throwing out those who are known to be susceptible to, or carriers of it.

they always do keep SARS from spreading. its just not that contagious.
