It is tantamount to cutting supply lines for
your own military and is an action that can be

The only type of person who orders military action
without permission from Congress, then cuts supply
lines to that deployed military is a fucking
mole, an enemy of the state, military, American
people, and Constitution.

How many times does America have to be whacked
over the head with a veritible 2x4, by
Obama, lowest, nastiest, type of thug possible,
before the American people stop pandering to
homosexuals and movie stars and take action to
relieve him of his position?

If we want to cut federal payroll,
it is the CIA that should be defunded.
They do nothing but carry out orders
to murder this one or that one, on
Obama's kill list, which includes
American civilians who happen to
annoy the fucker, like Brietbart,
like comedian Steve Bridges, or the
deal done in Sandy Hook.

After that, cut any alphabet agency
that is operating against the Constitution.
TSA, NSA, DHS, HEW, IRS, including those that
are sucking money in order to facilitate
the destruction of America, like those
blocking deportation of illegals.

Cut all federal money to states that
are enacting anti Constitution legislation.
Like Illinois and California. Florida,
New York, and Nevada, main offenders.

Move 800,000 highly skilled individuals into the private workforce and let them start small businesses.

Swallow the medicine now and feel much better down the road.

You idiots realize that by laying off these individuals it will cause a ripple effect by a factor of several times over as it relates to the PRIVATE sector? The velocity of money will slow, money in the system will slow down, this will create even MORE unemployment as subcontractors, and even regular businesses go out of business due to contracts being broken and or individuals having less income to spend on simple things such as coffee, movies, dinner, etc.

This is not a good thing. It will massively increase unemployment. The REAL bad thing is that even when the sequestration is lifted it may have done PERMANENT damage to existing businesses that will NOT come back... it is NOT easy to open up and successfully run a business...

It will have negative effects, but this pales in comparison to what will happen if the parasites are allowed to continue feeding off the near dead host.

I disagree. There are other options. Start cutting WELFARE and other subsidies. If you look at the amount of money being spent in the budget it is NOT govt employees or cnotractors, it is entitlements! Social Security, Medicare, welfare, etc. SS and medicare should be cut. I'm sorry but the amount of money that the vast majority put into SS or medicare over their lifetime does not equate to what they receive out, which can be a factor of 10 or greater. Its a net loss.

OK stupid, first your father is retired and gets a check from the government already. Second, the furlough is only one day a week, which nobody on here seems to have mentioned.

Why should I give a fuck about your father who already has a retirement check in the mail? What? Now he can't buy that RV or get a new fishing boat? Any day that a government employee finds out that they are not so "special" as they thought they were, is a good day.

Government workers will be going batshit crazy soon. There'll be shootings and suicides out the wazoo. There is nothing more dangerous than a government worker that loses out on the public largess.

gubmint employment is welfare. 90+ percent don't work more than an hour or two a day if that.

Many of us have had that happen and have had to really budget and tighten belts. It is very surprising how little a person can live on and still keep a roof over their head, clothes on their back and food on the table. People need to think of necessities instead of wants in these difficult economic times.

Things expand and things contract and then back again. We are in a contraction phase. The only thing to do is be flexible and roll with it because there is nothing else to do. We have simplified out lives in my family and we are actually enjoying it. Was very hard in the beginning but it has turned out to be a good thing for us.

I don't think they will go after welfare(right now) since they don't want chaos. We all know what the majority receiving welfare are like and if they don't get their welfare they will start looting and worse.
