The video says the roof was locked to guests, only staff has access. That tells us right there that maybe an employee killed her.

I saw one video and another video, and it was different. I don't think I'm imagining things. One video she pressed only a few buttons, in the other video she pressed a lot more buttons. In one video she acts differently than the other.

Whatever's happening - this video was taken on the top floor. The first button she presses, the light goes off immediately, but the others stay on. This means the first button is the floor she's on. She presses the buttons from top to bottom. She must be on the top floor, or at least a high floor.

She may have climbed the tank and jumped into the tank herself. It might have seemed like the only option for some reason if she was trying to hide from someone.

She could have been on meth and thought someone was following her. When a meth trip goes bad some people think they see men in military uniform following them.

People are going to be sick and they all need informed from the books that they need checked out at a hospital.. This is so gross and it reminds me of a movie I believe it was called Cabin Fever and they got a flesh eating virus from the water.. What a nightmare..

i would hope there exists more than a few nuts and bolts attached to the top of that water tank.

1- she was a tiny girl.
2- she did not fall in.

She was put there most likly.. The was a couple here in Ohio and they had a son that was getting split with his wife.. They grabbed her after work and put her in a church septic tank.. They got caught and are in jail now.. People think those type of places are good hiding for bodies.. They don't think about it messing up the draining or pumping and so when they come to work on it, they are found.

They said they had a serial killer in their before, wonder if its a 1408 type hotel

The cecil hotel has 600-rooms. I might imagine the amount of people passing through that thing over two weeks.

Actually the police said that the hatch to the tanks were unlocked. The door to the roof was locked however. It would have been very easy or her to climb the ladder and open the hatch.

She may have thought that the water tank was a good place to hide once she got on the roof. She could just wait until the person following her was gone and she would climb back out. The only thing about it is that I do not see anybody really following her and she leaves the door to the elevator open which is weird if she is trying to escape from somewhere.

I would still guess a bad meth trip or something of the like.
