on another site someone who use to work for the hotel last year said:
"Since the water tanks are on a platform at least 10ft above the surface of the roof, a person would have to go to the top floor of the hotel, take the staircase to get to the roof, pass through the roofs locked door without setting off the emergency alarm, use a ladder to get up to the 10ft high platform on which the water tanks are located, and then again use the ladder to climb up the side of the 10ft high water tank."

So what was the cause of death, then? Did they say if she drowned? Isn't that relatively easy to figure out, death by drowning? If no injuries, and she climbed in herself (unlikely) then she must've drowned.

Yes!! And coming out the same week as the story about the old nasty LSU man's murder lair in a hotel?

I saw this very same thing on an episode of Columbo once.

She acts as though she is playing a game, or she is acting out some fantasy. Maybe she was playing pretend? Maybe she was just bored, so she decided to explore the hotel as if she were a kid playing out some scenario in her head where she is being chased. It could have been her first trip away from home? Strange, she seems well educated, maybe she is an introvert?

The hotel should charge em extra for all the free vitamins and minerals in the water. Thats a perk!

Thanks okay. I understand. Yeah, if CNN reports it, I don't blame you for questioning it. I'm glad you did. It wouldn't be hard at all to prove she was a real person. She was a student at one of the colleges, so many people in BC would have known her.

Like I was saying, it's been in the provincial news daily.

Here is one example of the news broadcast. Also, the news broadcaster is Chris Galus. Some of you Americans in Dallas and New York may remember him. He did the news down in the States for a few years in those two cities before returning to BC. You can click on any of the days from the time she was missing and I think they did regular reports on her disappearance.

I thought about it maybe she wasn't running away from someone. Maybe she ran and hid in a playful way? I also think they may have other footage they aren't giving out yet so the killer might come forward etc.

I have not read ALL of the posts here, but I really would like to know her reason for going to that city, if not for going to the hotel. I mean, was she trying to break into the movies, or some type of continuing education, etc. and therefore trying to get by as cheaply as possible? Do you know the motivation for her trip? Thanks.

Of course there are ladders up to the water tank hatch. THey keep the hatch closed but they admit that it was unlocked so anyone could have climbed the ladder alread

Their website looks okay to an unknowing person, such as her parents or whoever set her up at that hotel. I mean the description of since 1920, pictures of room, etc. look pretty regular, no? The devil is a LIAR!
