No but I was on 'a relaxing sightseeing trip' to Oswiecim. I recommend to visit this place. You will be much different after that.

I remember that day, 10 April 2010 minute by minute. Saturday. I was in dorm (I was studying back then), I woke up about 1 p.m. cause I was after a really good party after well passed exam. First thing - I turned computer on to listen to some music from Internet Radio. After that I was trying to access 'www.wp.pl' which is the most popular site in Poland with news, e-mail, etc. It is something like yahoo. And... I couldn't! After 15 minutes of trying I noticed that the site was whole black and white. I thought '... who died?' and I saw picture of President Lech Kaczynski....

I'm tough man but after that I cried like never before. It was sooo weird. I really like this man cause he has got some ideas how to 'upgrade' POLAND. He was saying what he was thinking. Very rare politician.

Tragedy. That's all.

I went to both Auschwitz and Birkenau. Wow! I got sick inside. I had seen documentaries on both but nothing compares to seeing it for real. Unbelievable and changed my life.

Yea, thats true. Sadly. I'm glad that places like those survived to show us that we should be better..

Of course! He is for us someone like national hero. We're really proud of him. Kazimierz Pulaski, general, was fighting in the war of the Independence of USA. He died in Savannah during the fight. I'm glad that you asked about him :)

Gdansk is very near Baltic Sea (from my home I have only 3km to the beach). This is so great in the summer, nice beaches with really great sand. Whole city is near to the two other cities. Together - 3City! So there is almost everything you want. North of the Poland doesn't have mountains. In other hand we're pround of our lakes and rivers. If you want mountains you have to go to the south of the country.

And yes, I can get out of the city really quick. My friend got summer house which is open to me whatever I want so It's great :)

I hope you're talking about the whole series? Not the movie? Cause the new movie from the cinema is nothing compares to the old series. Few episodes with really good plot. Worth watchning.

We are not in the Euro Zone yet. We always wanted to be there as fast as possible but now we don't. We don't want to be like Spain or Greece. I mean bankrupt. And our currency (Polski Zloty) is fine, very stable which is rare in these days.

And yes, I was in Auschwitz. I wrote about this before.
Auschwitz is Oswiecim in polish. You have to visit this place. You just have to.
