Smoking actually desinfects mouth, throat and lungs. Anyone who stopped smoking will know you are more likely to catch a bacterial infection when you quit smoking because all the natural bactarias have to be re-estrablished first, usually causing a strep throat, coughs and lots of other bacteria related things. That is not to say smoking is healthy, but its antiseptic "benefits" are a proven fact.

NOBODY, not even her private doctors or family or university health office have said ANYTHING about her health.
except that she didn't do drugs or drink.
usually they say, "she was a HEALTHY YOUNG WOMAN, we cant imagine how she died",

usually when a young person dies, they talk about how healthy, vibrant, and promising they were.

so called problem is that they cannot do skin tests when someone presents with the symptoms --they do a chest xRay/sputum cultures which would GET DONE ANYWAY to confirm the presence of TB.

Teen DIES from illness contracted at Disneyland. One day he's fine, the next day he spikes a high fever and died 24-hours later. Coincidence, or somehow connected to all of this?

A good friend of mine, principal of a college, died of TB in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the late 1990's. He had a lot of students at his school who had recently immigrated to Canada from Third World countries.

A lot like L.A.

His life could have been saved, but the Canadian doctors were slow to diagnose the disease properly.

Problem here is that the hotel she was staying at was in the same neighborhood as the homeless area. Another upscale gentrification project, with classy hotel, see?

But what if the guy who was stalking her was one of the deadbeats who spotted her walking around outside and followed her in, and staked her out?

Maybe he was the one with the TB.

And maybe this was all planned BECAUSE OF HER NAME.

There is no proof he contacted the disease at Disneyland...absolutely no proof. He could have been ill before that, but he only complained once the fever occurred and his symptoms got worse while he was on the trip. Because someone said he was "fine the first" day doesn't mean he was. Most kids don't complain right away.

"He was fine the first day, and then he was complaining of a fever and not feeling well the next day, and then he progressively got worse,' said Shannon Fredericks, a classmate.

"He continued to brave the illness until he collapsed in front of terrified school friends on a day trip to Santa Monica pier."

He was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center but died 24 hours later on Tuesday, February 19."

Saddletramp, I know from prior reading that this is true, during the 1800's when TB was the "White Plague" and the main killer in the world, smokers did enjoy some immunity from it. Tried to look this up and find any kind of reference but the net is simply flooded with reports to the contrary, the current propaganda is that smoking will cause more TB infections, both coming from the WHO and country sources.

Do you have any reference that you can grab for us? I read it several years ago and don't recall exactly where. Have read much on epidemics, including the book "The WHite Plague", so it could be anywhere.

TB cases diseased with MDR-TB can transmit the drug resistant infection to other individuals."

MDR-TB can be transmitted through the air and body fluids. It is highly virulent when airborne and can potentially mutate into a deadly plague.

Scary stuff! Is this a test run?
