Car blast rocks central Damascus, casualties reported

A suicide bomber has detonated a vehicle in the Al-Qabun area of Damascus, state media reports. Several people have been killed and injured according to preliminary reports.

I view it like watching two rattle snakes fighting, I hope they both kill each other. No good side to pick.

The last one killed more and the US said it was not a war crime. How many before Syria can take counter measures without being condemned for it?

When Israel did their little assassination the FSA would have sent nukes in retaliation if they had them. If these had gone off in Israel a week ago half the depots would be out of bombs by now. A few strangers on a bus was enough to make the headlines not long ago.

Syria should barcode every roof of every vehicle and track it with ridf starting at the gates to the city. No barcode off come the wheels. Do the weight with the sticker at the border. That sort of data should work as evidence with the ICC should it ever be decided killing 100 civilians intentionally is something worth laying charges over. In real time it can lead to depots where the bombers are staging.

Traffic lights for stable areas like Canada and any high spot in a volatile area with the same tracking capability as the newer drones and their HD lenses. ie mountain passes in Syria. A mobile cell tower as called for. Make the stripes run the same direction as vehicle travel and it would never be blurry. It would be a boon to fleets more than individuals unless you get a discount on insurance or tax purposes so getting to and back from work is a deduction rather than 'suck it up' type of expense. (for those that do travel to work)
