No matter who makes the map, it always cracks me up that they put ocean covering land mass that is 10,000 feet up, yet other areas that are 1000 ft are dry. If there is something that swallows mountains then no one will survive. Simple geology.

You dont have water covering 10,000 high rocky inland that far and it doesnt go downhill to the plains and flood that.

If you put the limestone maps with the salt maps it gets interesting.

So you think that the vertical placement of landmasses always stays the same? If a small sinkhole can swallow trees, then one can imagine a larger one could swallow whatever is on top of it, even a mountain.

Your 2 dimensional thinking is preventing you from seeing reality. Instead of only imaging the water moving, you must accept the possibility of the Earths crust moving along not only the horizontal, but also the vertical plane. The crust of the Earth is not now, nor has it ever been, in a constant unchanging, unmoving state.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just saying you are forgetting to add some necessary parameters to your theory.

but, I have noticed a lot of sinkholes lately, I have seen that Navy map before....

I don't know if there is an abnormal number of sinkholes lately, or if they are just being reported more, but I def hear of them more now than ever.
