How can you enjoy your life, make your own experiences when you don't live and explore life out of fear of punishment all the time. Even nature evolves through trial and error. Existence is not about living in fear, but about experiencing life and becoming one with everything. it is a movement, not a dogma.

could be a few. don't know if it was a demon or a disembodied spirit. there are astral worlds but the astral world is still a projection of mind. higher spirituality transcends all these manifestations and projections.

people have their own demons too and usually have to face them in the process of dropping belief systems and mind concepts. battling your demons eventually too will pass.

its not about fear, its about the meaning of life but if you think the meaning is to enjoy and chase your bodily desires and becoming one with rocks and the crap you unload on a daily basis suit yourself for a few decades you have left on this rock

No. People do need moral and ethical guidelines and rules to function as a society. People are not advanced enough to naturally do the right thing. Without guidelines there would be chaos and violence. But people need to be more conscious about what they do and follow, discern, question and not follow blindly only out of fear of punishment.

Maybe one day we will live in an enlightened society where religion will be obsolete because humanity will be wise and mature.

That's true, but they did, show him speaking on behalf of the ant. How does the child know the ant isn't a part of a much greater awareness? It lives in perfect equilibrium with nature and its kind, it has complete and total purpose and honors it daily. The preservation of precious life and the species with zero damage to the planet. So, who really is in the know here and who is the "ant"? Seems to me like ants know a hell of a lot more than we do, simply because they do not need to be like one of us. Perhaps animals are here to teach us something about the meaning of life that we have not quite grasped yet.
