To those asking questions about the amount of bullets:

1. It does not matter how much ammo is used in Irag/Afganistan. It does not matter how much ammo is used for military training. Hollow point bullets are not used by the military, PERIOD.

2. The military did not purchase 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition. The Department of Homeland Security did. Two completely DIFFERENT entities. the military operates internationally. DHS operates ONLY domestically.

Conclusion - By utilyzing logic, it becomes evident that the ONLY people in the entire world that the 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition can be used against are people who are standing on American soil.

Now, take a look around my fellow American citizens, and ask yourselves just exactly where is it that you and your families are currently standing?

You should be more worried about how Obama has made it so all new phones, tv, even Alarm clocks, radios, etc; are interruptable directly from the white house / him for an emergency message system. Even TV stations and Radio stations for years now have been having boxes force into their stations that allow the same.

Unless I missed it, the one thing I haven't see commented about is the fact that the .40cal round, hollowpoint or FMJ, is a close combat round. These rounds are primarily pistol rounds, intended to be used at ranges of 50 yards or less. Granted, they can kill at far greater distances, but for all intents and purposes, the rounds are intended to be used at short range, like with in the confines of homes and businesses. To me, this is the most disturbing aspect of all, the fact that DHS intends to use them up close and personal. When the SHTF, all who own, and are proficient with center-fire rifles, will be in great demand(to the rest of you).

Also to get them off the shelves so citizens can't buy them. We haven't been able to purchase ammo for months because the stores are out - nothing is in supply even for the 22 rifles here.
