because the stock market, since 2002, is no longer a valid indicator of a viable economy

Where do you think the 80 bllion per month printed by the FED RESERVE is going? They are printing into infinity. This money is going to speculators which then flow into the market. Simple as that.

It is simple. 85 Billion dollars a month, goes from the FED (US the taxpayer - with interest i might add) straight to the bank, who does not lend the money or stimulate anything in the economy. The take that money and dump it right back into the market, keeping it afloat, while OLD MONEY, which always wins. Quietly and Strategically cashes out. With you left holding the bag.

What are you going to do with your money?

It is a strategy that buys fewer stocks when price is high, and more stocks when price is low. If you are an investor, you are very familiar with this strategy.

Every week, working Americans automatically have a chunk dumped into their 401k which is invested in the market. This isn't a decision that is made every week - it is done automatically.

The market is set up to grow automatically, not because the companies are earning more, but because people are investing continuously which drives up stock prices.

Once it is safe to invest in Europe again, our market will take a hit.

The privately owned Federal Reserve bank is printing paper money, not backed by anything so it inflates our dollar while they use it to prop up the stock market with fiat currency, then they get SHEEPLE to invest, then they pull the plug on industries they control, and make people lose their money while they gain REAL wealth, while it was their FALSE wealth that people were fooled to believe they really had. (wealth in a company or product they believed in)

The fact that 50% of the country lives in poverty is irrelevant according to financial gurus.
The economy is good if the capitalists are making money.
If 90% of poeple starve but 10% get richer all is well according to financial wizards.
