its funny how this is happening in the US but it takes someone not even living there to bring their news to them.

I live about five miles from the spill - and the stench even this far away was HORRIBLE. Thinking it was somebodies septic backed up or something like that - I kept my windows closed - I couldn't smell anything inside the house.

I have had a migraine for two days - and it was so bad this morning I could barely move.

Because I don't watch the news - and was busy trying to get past the migraine, meaning - no GLP - I didn't have any clue what was going on, until this afternoon.

Headache subsided, needed a few groceries, I headed out for the grocery store. When I pulled up to the parking lot? It was a ZOO. Tons of GOVERNMENT trucks, tankers, hoses, etc. bunch of guys running around in protective coverings - but all I could smell was something like asphalt. My headache was back immediately. I still had no idea what was going on, but, from what I could see - it didn't look good at all,

(What was REALLY STUPID? Is that the road leading to the highway was PACKED with IDIOTS who just had to come and GAWK)

When I got back home, I called a neighbor to ask if they knew what was up - they filled me in about the spill - said that they were told that the fumes where NOT dangerous - if that is so, then why is the headache in FULL TILT right now?
