I wonder why the guy would not talk to him. It seems this is why the marine went crazy because he just hit his car and would not talk but ignored him. That might make me upset too. Of course, not to the level as the marine but why wouldn't he talk to him? Quoting: PatiencePlz The update said that the crazy guy repeatedly brake checked the quiet guy, which caused the wreck. The quiet guy did the right thing by keeping his cool. |

nutmeg User ID: 35189740 United States 04/02/2013 05:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So many bad Canada drivers too. I sometimes find myself going 70km in a 90km zone with heaved roads so bad my tires scrape my fenders hard as fuck. People get mad cause I slowed down to a washed out road. Just lol and drive, may or may not flip my finger for a solid 10-30seconds in some cases. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1682116 I was on facebook two days ago. A friend, who works for an insurance company in Melbourne, Florida, and whose office is next to a car dealership, told of a guy, from the dealership, who was test driving a trade-in car. He had a fender bender with another car. The car dealership guy got out of his car to talk to the guy, who stayed in his car. The guy in the car pulled out a gun and shot him dead. The perp is out on bond. Both 64 years old. Last Edited by nutmeg on 04/02/2013 05:42 PM |

Last year I was driving in the middle lane on I95 and this crazy asshole comes up flying on my right side and almost clips my my front bumper going over to the fast lane. He was apparently playing road rage with somebody behind me. Well he goes from the right lane all the way over to the fast lane and slams on the brakes HARD! What an fucking idiot!I guess he was trying to get the guy to ram into the back of him. Well he did ..and I kept driving. Banned often |
wrn0321 User ID: 16287066 United States 04/02/2013 05:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | complete bullshit ^^^ Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1272056 i have known a lot of marines from this marine base and friends of the marines i knew. they were almost all very respectful and nice dudes. marines do not act his way on average. What lol? I was in the Navy for 8 years pal. I worked with first MEF in Kuwait doing operations for the P-3s that were doing aerial recon for them. Given all the bases I was at or on over the years I was exposed to countless Marines. Marines are mostly barbarians, but they are trained to do that lol. It's literally their job to be first in combat effective killers. I don't see what you are even arguing here. The video posted is honestly a pretty typical Marine. Didn't you see how the other guys around him weren't acting like it was that uncommon or a big deal lol? They just didn't want him to get in trouble most likely, and that's probably it. Marines also live their life by rules and regulations, so getting caught was no doubt on his (their) mind. Thanks for the capital M in our title. I agree this was not an unusual situation. I am a retired GySgt and can say we are a different breed and try to police our own trash. However, this loss of control and treatment of a fellow Marine and his female passenger is nothing short of unbecoming behavior. This Marine's actions were in my opinion, a travesty. His Platoon Sgt should be ashamed of himself as well to not know the mental state of his Marine was unstable and seek help for him. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 29725520 Japan 04/02/2013 05:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No excuse. I volunteer for the USO and I have met guys who have served 4-5 tours. No one acts like this. What a jerk. Just remember, no one has been forced to join the military. There is no draft! Quoting: nutmeg I also am a military wife and have associated with the military over 35 years. I have never seen this type of behavior. That guy is young. If you ask me, he was a nutcase before he joined the marines! OK perhaps I exaggerated a tad in all honesty. In reality though a lot of Marines are capable of this kind of behavior. I remember when I had just got out of boot camp and was in Dam Neck Virginia there was a Marine on the city bus saying "I just want to fight someone" a bunch of times while his buddy told him to calm down lol. I also remember the day that I reported to that school there was a Navy guy that had been beat by like 6 Marines bleeding from the head all over the place talking to cops in the barracks. In the USO yes they will probably be nice most of the time, but go out drinking with them and see how nice they are then. Don't underestimate how crazy a Marine can be if you value your safety, since they are trained killers after all. You can't argue this point (especially with someone like me) so don't even bother trying. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14016215 Violence and aggression is the ony way to deal with violence and aggression. It's the American way. well as this guy in the video shows the exact opposite is true. the driver was passive and calm. he dealt with it perfectly. no one died that day. I know. Why do people always assume the worst about America? It's just like anywhere else; you have good and bad people. Also, it's not like you won't get your face rearranged for your I-phone in England. |

Quoting: zzbudzz Unfortunately, because of this video, he'll probably be promoted to leading one of the teams that - under martial law - will come knocking at your door to take your guns. No, because of videos like this they will get the public okay to take their weapons because they are "ill". They are already writing that story. Marines like this aren't helping their own keep the rights they should have. |
