Chas User ID: 32761527 United States 04/06/2013 09:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They say pride comes before a fall. I didn't think people were so arrogant and retarded until I heard someone talking about North Korea, acting like they wouldn't even be able to launch a single rocket without it being shot on the launch pad. People really over-estimate their own capabilities, at least in the US. What's the word for this situation? Hubris? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29941383 great article from 2009----read what it says about NK's rocket program....makes you wonder.. [link to www.atimes.com] Thanks for posting the link...interesting article to say the least... Chas |

Mister Pink User ID: 1708446 United States 04/06/2013 09:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have read many posts that feel the US is trying to use the media to drum up support for a war. Comparing this situation to the Iraq war, WMD's, fear mongering etc. This could be a very realistic possibility, but I have a somewhat different opinion. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8677805 You see I feel the media coverage of these event have been somewhat deflated. We have yet to hear word from the President; which I find unusual. Any every report, article, and official that comments on the status of things downplays North Korea's capabilitites. They say the first form of mind control is repetition. Let us just examine the repetition of the message being delivered. North Koreas missiles can't reach mainland, they have yet to master the process of minaturization, belicosse rhetoric. All officials, and media outlets are using the term "bellicose rhetoric". The term itself seems rehearsed. So the message being carried is "North Korea is full of hot air, primitive, ignorant, and basically building up the tensions for eventual aid, and alleviated sanctions". So in response we are sending some pretty top of the line war machinery there to scare the boy who is crying wolf. I don't know? It doesn't really add up for me. I can't imagine a leader of really any country would be dumb enough to spit in the face of the worlds greatest superpower. Threaten no less than doomsday, death, and despair to not only the US, but South Korea, and Japan. My point is this. North Korea may be run by an asshole, but I don't think he is an idiotic, and suicidal asshole. Military assets are being moved and positioned all over the globe by numerous countries. Russia and China keep coming up. I fear this is a far more dire crisis than is being conveyed. I feel we are on a line of seeing a war to the likes the world has never seen. If someone sneezes wrong at this point this falls like abunch of dominoes in line. We can only pray that what we are seeing in the media is the iceberg, and not just the tip. Cause if any of us truly thought there was a possibility of nuclear war on our soil, people would stop going to work, and bunker up. I don't know the rumblings are just starting to concern me, and even more so the perpetual downplaying. I have the same opinion as you on this matter. It just seems too well downplayed to me. Never in the history of any conflict have we downplayed nuclear attacks and now this. It reminds me of many posts I've read on here and all over the net as to how TPTB have to tell you what they are going to do before they do it. Almost as if to get permission from us to do the unspeakable. Like in LA where I live they have had earthquake drills but for a much larger earthquake. Not to say an earthquake is going to happen but to just be prepared for the worst. So now that they've warned us the guilt is off thier conscience when TSHTF. It just may be better to be safe then sorry at this point. So dammit, you best better bring in those tomater plants. |

The quickening is happening and it is becoming harder and harder to control their little slave/culling agenda. If they cross the line with a Nuke, it may be a step too far for them. Let us say, there are "other" interests at play here.. I can tell you for a FACT when nukes are set off, they interfere with other dimensions. So I will be very surprised to see if nukes will be unleashed, although it is what the NWO scum really want right now.. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 23231420 United States 04/06/2013 11:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The NK have only made verbal threats at this time with the addition of militarian posturing /troop movements; In reality we are in no position to make a move due to the NK course of action (as outlined by the UN). NK is on the brink of a war, however this is a choice that they have not completely taken action on. As the world waits in suspense of what is to come of this all I must remind you that america respects our allies, as well as our enemies. Nk is truly pointint a gun in our face. However if we act before they pull the trigger, than China and russia have every right to aide NK which they are bound to as allies. We cannot risk breaking our pacts with the UN, so we will continue to live life as usual until a time comes that Nk has forced us to act. The UN treaty between China and Nk would be broken in the event that the NK government uses Nuclear warfare. Due to chinas position with the USA and UN. That would green light a counter attack from both China, and the Usa. China is being wise and humble to show no support for NK at this time. As I am sure their loyalties, Lay With China, and China Alone. So in turn China will not support NK nor attempt to influence Nk. As the descision is theirs to make. The USA is moving our defense systems into the region, as well as our war machines (due to the threats and provocations made by the NK Government). While several large deployments were originally in the region for war games, the new deployments, are there in respects to the NK governments behaviour. It's best said that the ball is now in NK's court. While I do agree with you that many things are not being said, I assure you this: No United States citizen, has anything to gain from this war. Thus, We attempt not to provoke Nk, as it stands. We have no interest in the war. We actually wish that the NK government were working with the US, and UN more closely. However they continue to escalate matters, by doing the opposite, at the cost of sanctions. It is only a matter of time between an attack, or a truce. Nk wants equality, The USA wants Liberty. |
Uisce User ID: 32503188 Ireland 04/06/2013 11:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree withe AC starter of this thread. Four/five days ago reading the worse and worse news I asked myself if there was any basic publicly available data of any sort to indicate if this threat was real or just world media put the fear in people. World stockmarkets was what I came up with. Yeah yeah they react to all sorts chiefly more or less chance of greed and gain and the world economy is screwed we all know that. Still, real possibility of all out nuclear war aint exactly the sort of thing gives markets confidence. Huge as the consequences are for all the people already embroiled in wars allover Iraq Syria Gaza Afghan loads of Africa they are all essentially small theatres of war, and Big Business makes mega bucks out of them. Superpower conflict is something else entirely. Nuclear war is. Its a vast hideous unknown. An I noticed the markets have been sinking steadily - not much, but all of them, and that's unusual - in realtime with every reported moved missile or deployment of stealth bombers. I also at the same time trawled the internet about the supposed inability of NK to wage any kind of effective war/threat. I read that it is reasonable to suppose they have EMP missiles. They don't need long range ICBMS. They can be launched from the satellite the NK already have. IT IS ALWAYS A MISTAKE TO UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ENEMY. Always always always thru history. While I can easily believe in the world elite planning NWO I can't believe that those plans would be well served by returning the planet to the stone age. The present hideous situation serves them better. I think this is something different. |

United States does-not want a war in south east asia.. North korea is way more advanced then the public is let in on... They could nuke any US city they want to , and we would have an extream hard time stoping it... Do you realy think CNN is gona go live air and say that new york could take a nuke strike at any momment? It would cause panic! That could be destructive.. Or how about south korea you think there media is gona tell them that they could be invaded raped and killed in 24hrs? It could also cause panic... I can see its in a state of down play... They tell you about the fake wars but they will never tell you about the real wars until your in them... |
