Horse meat in America? My experience at McDonald's tonight.
I don't eat fast food a lot. I avoid it when possible.

However, tonight I was on the way home late and I didn't feel like going to the grocery store which was 10 miles in the other direction and probably closed. So, I stopped off at the McDonald's down the street which shares a retail space with a gas station and is 24 hours.

I ordered a so-called "premium" items and paid more for them. My total (without soda) was nearly ten dollars!

On the way home, my bag of steaming fast food beside me, I noticed my car smelled. It smelled really bad. Not like fast food smell. It smelled like horse.

I have ridden horses and when they sweat they put out a certain odor, just like all mammals do. My food strait up smelled like horse. Not like beef. Not like fried food. It smelled like HORSE!

I got home and took a few bites out of hunger telling myself it was all in my mind. But that smell got me. I tossed out my food and then took out the trash because the smell kept me disgusted long after the taste had been washed out of my mouth with a few beers.

Plausible? I think so. No more McD's for me.

bump

No one else has noticed this?!

I'm not trolling or trying to cause problems. Look, I like McD's too! But my angus smelled like horse meat! There is no denying it. This isn't some attempt at being clever. It really made me sick just smelling it.

Really, though. Maybe the food was just bad. Doesn't mean it was horse, but if it smelled off, better not to eat it. Shit's poison anyway.

I heard eating other people is good for you too(sarcasm, not advocating)

What a comment. We don't eat our pets here in the US, don't know about Belgium though.

I knew that was gonna happen as soon as it became legal to slaughter horses again here in the US. They'll do anything for cheap meat.

Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”

Horse meat is similar to cows.
It is recomended for small dogs because it has less fat and used to be cheaper.
In Europe is mainly a media hype thing that I would bet involves some special interests fight behind curtains . Theyve found "traces" of horsemeat. We all know what "traces" mean in the MSM lingo. Less than one porcent.
