Why Religous folk are ultimately very selfish people...

Take Christians. All they are concerned with is 'I am saved.'

The only reason they refuse to believe God is an entity within theselves as opposed to a bearded man in the sky is because they are AFRAID that they will go to a make up land called hell after death.

religion is only concerned with the self. they do lots of good works only because they believe they will get something in return (heaven). tell them the truth however (that heaven is within as even their prophet told them) then you will see their true colours pretty quickly.

religous folk worship a demon and they don't even know it. like lambs to the slaughter.
