The World's Most Interesting Man: Wayne Green (Wayne Green passed away Sept, 13, 2013)
I am very sad to hear of the passing of my great friend, Wayne Green. Wayne and I spoke often, he was always there for advice or just for a fun talk.. great man.

"Wayne Green passed away this morning in a peaceful, painless transition from this life on Earth. An eternal optimist, and one who loved to share his neverending zest for life, he was a friend to many and will be missed greatly. Wayne was not afraid of dying and was very much ready to embark on his next great adventure to the afterlife."

Great guy - the cold fusion ran into some huge obstacles, though. Steven Greer's new movie sheds some light on that.

Would like to meet him sometime.

I think people should do a little background study on Wayne Green.

Having been a ham for decades, as well as family members being hams before me, we are well acquainted with his background at CQ and later 73 magazines.

Do a search for Wayne Green on QRZ.com and other ham forums to get a complete picture.

Be sure to read "Run, Wayne, Run" by his ex-wife's future attorney husband.

Find out why he was banned from "Coast to Coast AM".

Lot's to find out.

He is and has been nothng but a shameless self promoter.

I certainly did enjoy reading 73 magazine back in the 1960's. I was a budding young ham radio operator and the magazine brought all kinds of good stuff to light.

He had a lot of writers submitting interesting "build it" articles and was an interesting magazine to read.

However, his editorials were known for bashing other entities and publishers, and so he built his readership as a "rabble-rouser" always complaining about something.

He did the same with his "Hot CoCo" magazine about the Tandy Color Computer. His editorials always bit the hand that fed him - Tandy Corporation.
