Anonymous Coward User ID: 38478989 United States 05/03/2013 11:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is just happening with my email. Everything else on my computer is running fine. I can not open any of my emails. I tried clearing the cookies but I don't know what else to do? I've heard of this happening and I regret opening an email I did not know who it was from because I think that it had a virus. Quoting: seeking advice 2179644 I tried doing a virus scan and it said there were no problems. It's just opening my emails. Can anyone help or suggest something to fix this? Typical Yahoo email problem. Give it a rest an close all browsers clear all data history and give it another go. I have that problem once a week, but it ususally corrects itself within an hour. |

I would disable it for a second and try to open one you know is safe see if it is conflicting with the email client. Quoting: ByFaithAlone Spybot. Like I said I'll be back later. I just thought I'd answer that since I saw it as soon as I posted my previous post. I heard of others and I'm open to suggestions. Thanks, bbl. |

OP for when you get back spybot is not generally used as a sole means of antivirus protection its objective is more a compliment to it. It does not scan for viruses. To be specific it's Spybot~ Search & Destroy It runs some kind of scan when I open it and hit the button 'check for problems'. Someone put the software in for me and told me how to use it. I don't know if that's the best software to remove all potential threats to a computer, but if there is something better let me know. Thank you, It might be temporary, like I read from someone else, so I'll give it a few days and see what happens. When I log in next time(I rarely do) I'll send some green to some of the people that tried to give me advice. :) |
