No, they see this as much bigger than Israel, it's all about the US, it's just like the cold war, tit for tat, and the Russians will respond in kind, as they see it, the US is taking down a Russian ally, so in turn they will now take out a US ally, the advantage being the point is made without the risk of a direct Russian-US military confrontation which would happen if Russia intervened against Israel, well that's the hope anyway.

Haifa to beef up security, readiness to emergency

In light of the last few days' events, Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav ordered to bolster security arrangements and preparedness to a state of emergency.
