So when people ask "How did Hitler come to power", just tell em to look towards Greece, Cyprus, and all the other Countries who were stupid enough to sell their freedom to a bunch of bankers. Question everything..... While still believing in the overall good of humanity! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9014106 Or, if you don't agree to be robbed, that is criminal? We get the government we deserve. They voted the criminals into office to get their free stuff, now they will live with the consequences. Coming to Amerika soon, 0bama lovers of Democrat extremists. The Right Policy is Always Conservative "The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President." - Vaclav Klaus |

[link to libertyfirewall.com] Unless the Greek (or) Geek Government plans to force the prisoners to work at slave labor while incarcerated, it makes no sense. Look at it this way: - You cannot pay your taxes that are alleged to be owed. - So lets lock you up, now you cannot pay your taxes and never will be able to while incarcerated. Being the Greek Government, what do we want and need more than anything else? MONEY! It does make sense in the context that if you are a protestor/demonstrator and you owe taxes then we will lock you up. That solves a problem, poof... no more protests! How's that lack of a 2nd Amendment working out for you, Greecers? Greeks own firearms (22 per 100) and yet they still have austerity and now debtors' prison. Just like Cyprians firearms guns (36 per 100) and the banks/government still took their money. Just like US citizens own firearms (88 per 100) but you still get Obamacare. I don't think owning a firearm is relevant and mentioning it is just trolling. |

Perhaps it would be wise to re-read Martin Neimollers poem: First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the socialists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me. If you think this is a Greek problem alone you are very wrong. |
