Did you read the post? The body was still there. The head was cut clean off with a powered saw of some sort.

I could have understood if the deer was missing and it got ate.

If I had time this morning, I would have took the whole thing. But it had to of been 12-15 hours by the time I got home.

When I hit one several years ago, I tossed it in the back and took it home, dressed it and kept the rack. No sense in wasting good meat.

If you want weird, poke around the various news archives about Ft Walton Beach Fl. They will occasionally find a decapitated goat laying somewhere around the city. The last one I read about was near the library. As far as I know, they never caught anyone, or had a suspect. This went on for nine years or so. Dunno about recently.

I figure if you hit one you may as well take it. Figure the meat makes up for the damage it caused.
