Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38537724 ? any practical alternatives for a change? Like: "Use-by-date-idea...?" I heard that idea some time ago. Could that solve some financial, economical and social problems,? . The first step in the right direction would be abandoning the reserve status monopoly of usd which is unbelievable hyperinflated by policies of FED. And they don´t know better. |

Quoting: moneytalks 37231903 The dollar is the reserve currency, duh. The Aus paper is meaningless, with the exception of your energy prices, with manipulation one way or the other. You should be happy with a weaker currency in regard to exports, Roo skins? what exactly does Australia manufacture besides a bunch of whiny pussies. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38537724 Strong dollar not really good for anyone, except Americans traveling overseas. Won't even change our gasoline prices, because they will just manipulate the refineries here. I don´t speak of strong dollar, but his reserve status. Two differnt things. |

Quoting: moneytalks 37231903 The US purposely de-valued their dollar to make their exports look cheap to the outside world as they are so debt ridden and need to trade. The Australian Labor party tried to take credit for the "Strong Aussie Dollar" when in reality it was the Americans themselves fudging it all along and not the Labor Parties good work/policy. It is strange the way it has gone up suddenly when they are still having major problems. It really makes no sense for the US dollar to be so high. Has this come from within America and is a result of some unknown agenda or strategy? or is another company outside of the US or state manipulating economic strings to kill off the US economy? Strap yourselves in, put your tin foil hats on conspiracy kiddies and work why? |

So, nobody needs to settle debts with Aussie Dollars except 20 million people in the middle of fucking nowhere. And demand for the Aussie dollar drops, and it's exchange rate reflects that. |
