I delivered two engines to secret locations in Detroit. Part 1 of 2

They were matching gasoline 1998 Vortec Small Block Chevys. But the location was under ground near city airport near a street called Strong St. I had to have an escort in a military type outfit, all vehicles had white U.S. Government plates. Mostly offices, a guard shack. There was one military behicle in view, a 6 wheel truck with a canvas covered back, no plates or markings, black. The guard escorting me had a glock. I only saw 3 maybe 4 people except at the dock where the forklift pulled the engines. I asked what this place was, and I got a very short stern "It's a storage facility." response. There were several storage units, and closed numbered roll down doors.
In order to get to the tunnel, I had to enter a closed up, vacant looking building near Mt. Elliot near the jail. Strange indeed.
