I laughed this morning listening to a 1975 SNL skit, where they bantered back & forth with cracker, n*****, several others (part of the skit).

HLN radio today, a commentator said it was ok for TM to use creepy ass cracker, because he was only 19, and didn't have the knowledge of history yet....yet, he tackled Paula Deen saying she was 66 & knew the history of these hurtful words, therefore; she was racist & TM was not.
