Comet ISON - So, what's the REAL DEAL here???? Smoke and Mirror brigade strikes again!!!

I decided to dig down to the facts of all of this nonsense...

And this is what I found.

NASA named ISON very early on as the Comet of a Civilisation, this is a fact!

It was claimed to have been detected by two Russians on 21st September 2012 when it was at 5.85AU distance from the Sun and at a magnitude of 18.8.

It was recorded at the time of discovery as being 4.8Km in diameter.

It's brightness has not increased within the last 4 months?

And NASA have not released any images within this same time frame?


So, for a comparison I did a check on Comet Hale Bopp's statistics. 


Now this Comet was visible from Earth without visual aides for around 18 months, it was detected when it was 7.2AU which was around 200,000,000 miles further away than ISON, having a magnitude of 10.5, which means it was a lot brighter than ISON and a diameter estimated between 40Km to 80Km which made it HUGE in comparison to ISON but THIS COMET was simply labeled as the Great Comet of 1997? - So nothing too special then? 

So in summary, Comet ISON was both smaller, weaker in luminosity and yet CLOSER to us when first observed compared to Hale Bopp was but still given this awesome Comet of a Civilisation label... But why??

It only makes sense if they WANT you to look in that direction and no where else, in fact even the other TWO Comets Encke and Lovejoy happen to be exactly in the same part of the sky at exactly the same time!!!

Every amateur astronomer is poised waiting to see it!

It all makes for a great show with perfect stage misdirection... But from what?
