I completely agree with the idea of what he was doing but the sheriff was right. The guy's AR was on the sling horizontally. He went a bit too far at the end of the video I somehow can't imagine a sherrif being part of the NWO. Oh well at least he knows how to excercise his rights.

I've been pulled over twice in Rochester Hills, once for doing 5 mph (YES 5, not doing 25 over and written up for 5)over the limit and the other time, well, my plates were 2 years over due. I was just a brat trying to survive.

What is it that you don't understand about open carry? In the UK they took your guns and the only ones with guns now are the criminals.... Here in the US with concealed and open carry the criminals never know who is going to shoot back. The Government wants to take that all away, hence the reason for the protest to begin with. All these shootings are happening in gun free zones because the perpetrators know they can kill more people there before they get arrested or killed, and our Government wants to make the entire US a gun free zone except for them.... That is what you call a Tyrannical Government.

Open Carry is not a gravy train license. If you made even the slightest mistake 20 yrs ago that put a blemish on your "record" any felony and some misdemeanors you cant ever open carry. Also you must complete over 40 hours of training give or take a few hours. So the police riding up like that and the guy is not threatening tells that cop that man has never done anything major wrong in his life. This probably began as a 911 call from some Ohioan driving through who's never seen a gun before.

Cops are just people, unless you were beaten as a child and have serious problems with authority.

People called in a demented guy brandishing a big gun at them and the police responded. The sergeant was polite and very patient. The suspect gapped like a special needs fifth grader.

The cop felt uncomfy because an obviously abnormal man was standing in suburbia with an assault weapon. He didn't seem to feel at all powerless. He was an adult protecting the rights of immature people with guns.

I'm all for the Constitution but this type of protest is just harassment to decent individuals who happen to symbolise something. The guy is living a fantasy in which he's some sort of freedom protester but he's just a pain in the ass.

The cop came off looking better. He waited for a call from the legal researcher and he followed the law without swearing or yapping like a dog or insulting the citizen.

Devil's Advocate Point - The COP could have ran the Serial Number to see who the owner is and at that point, if he insisted on NOT showing ID, the guy would have been screwed. Either show ID or the weapon would be confiscated AND POSSIBLY considered stolen and he could have gone to jail for no reason.

From the moment the cop pulled up he had the history of the homes occupant, from when he bought the house to what he likes on facebook.

Dude was really being a dick, especially toward the end, and his weapon was not pointed in a safe direction.

The cop was also being an ass during most of this.

This could have gone really badly.

These thugs behave the way they do because we allow them and that gives them that legitimacy. So, we take them to court, recall politicians who support unlawful acts like what we've seen, have them arrested for felony robbery when they took his weapon away, etc. The more people stand up the less power they have. We own their jobs.

Let me get something straight. The UK has never had a gun culture, there has never been any guns to take away.
