I'm more worried about our own governments! Seen lots of threads on October 1st on here but first time I have seen date mentioned in a credible news article, here's another thread.

Literally this next week could be the last week to prepare before SHTF. If the government shuts down, hundreds of thousands of people will be on unpaid leave by Oct 1. The last time this happen 800,000 people were with out work on unpaid leave for almost a whole month...
