They are reporting their own satellite as down.

I guess the mainstream fuzz never lie...

i learned from phobos-grunt that satellite trackers are not really "trackers". They are mathematical predictions in an animation.

Nothing more.

Same thing happened when Phobos fell into the ocean. Trackers were still going.

Those are just computer simulations as to where the satellite would be if still in orbit. Thats is/was not true live tracking. Data on the satellite's position is input ever so often when it passes over a tracking station, then the computer takes that date and makes predictions where its supposed to be - not where it actually is. The comp does not take into account that the satellite has ran into the atmosphere and as such has slowed down, reentered and burnt up.

Probably burned up over Antarctica or over the ocean just before or after there as it orbited the southern half of the planet. Kinda a let down, but hey dats life!

This satellite is decayed

It had the potential to be a HUGE event...it just didn't. Nothing to do with Godlike. Actually GLP was right here reporting in the event that it could.

Well... to be fair, this was always a known possibility.

I find it amazing, with all the technology that can read a license plate from space and facial recognition drones, no one at all, saw anything.

And no one saw anything? They don't know where it is, or where it dumped anything...with all the NSA stuff and technology out there?
