Kids don't fit business models. Kids need to be taught how to live, not how to take tests. Some kids need 8 years of education while others probably need close to 20. The government knows they are producing stooges. And they keep coming up with more programs to ensure kids become stooges and nothing more. Dirtyboy Think beyond impossible. |
*Rhombus* User ID: 38804434 United States 11/17/2013 05:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I started college when I was 15. I was also running 2 businesses. I dropped out of college because I could not see a future in it. I left no debt, and was making $100k a year back when all my college grad friends were making $27k. I didn't go to university again until I was in my 40's, and frankly, did it just for grins (because I am not a sports fan, nor do I have any other expensive hobbies). I was also able to pick and choose my professors, hence able to avoid the avalanche of libtardedness that buries the typical unwary student. If you go into debt for a university degree today in America, you totally deserve to live with your parents, forever. That's awesome...sounds like you're a born entrepreneur. I see a lot of that in my oldest and do everything I can to encourage those instincts. I went to an expensive private college and got degrees in psychology and literature, along with a secondary teaching certificate. My parents paid my tuition and I will always be incredibly grateful to them for that. I taught middle school and high school English for several years before my kids were born, so I did use my degrees but not as much as you would think. In addition to homeschooling our boys this is what I do now: I make and sell art jewelry, and I've never been happier. I make enough money with it to contribute to vacations and other odds and ends but I'm working on growing my brand. When I think of all the supplies I could have bought with all the money that went into my college education it makes me cringe. I don't know where you get your delusions, laser brain. |

The initiatives that Duncan favors include the expansion of charter schools and judging teachers in part by how their students do on standardized tests. Lex Talionis User ID: 45146607 United States 11/17/2013 05:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Preplanned and preordained. Our educational system, over the last 50 years, has been systematically deconstructed and reconstructed as planned by the communist party. The Techniques of Communism: INVADING EDUCATION CHAPTER X: 208-248 (1954) by Louis F. Budenz "IN UNDERMINING a nation such as the United States, the infiltration of the educational process is of prime importance. The Communists have accordingly made the invasion of schools and colleges one of the major considerations in their psychological warfare designed to control the American mind. By such "cultural" work, the Soviet fifth column obtains an influence, directly or indirectly, over at least a portion of American youth." [link to www.biblebelievers.org.au] The American Civil Liberty Union commonly know as the ACLU, was created by an agnostic socialist, Roger Baldwin in 1920. In his thirtieth-anniversary Harvard University classbook he wrote, "I am for Socialism, disarmament, and ultimately the abolishing of the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and sole control by those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal." The ACLU has had countless law suits to get prayer and Bible reading removed from public schools. (See Communist goal 28 above.) In several land-mark, U.S. Supreme Court decision they were successful in getting Prayer, Bible Reading and the Ten Commandments removed from public schools. They have sued school boards and cities across the country in an effort to remove all traces of God from American society. They routinely demand removal of the Ten Commandments in court houses and in public parks. Crosses at War Memorials they claim is in violation of the "Separation of Church and State" principle, which only exist in the old Soviet Union Constitution but not the United States Constitution. In recent years they attack Christmas displays by hauling local officials to court to sue them. Many cities fearing bankruptcy simply cave in to save court fees and possible fines. The late DR. D. James Kennedy called the ACLU, the Anti Christian Legal Union. (To learn more See book, The ACLU vs America, by Alan Sears.) AMERICA HAS BEEN DUPED BY THE COMMUNIST PARTY AGENDA.
