This happened 2 miles from where I live..A Bear hunt and traps are being used to get the critter. They captured a small cub today, but not the one that attacked the woman and her dogs.

ALWAYS have a baseball bat with you.

Should've mauled the bear back.

so many things happen in this crazy state.

bears in a residential neighborhood in FL, that's not very common.

In a California museum there stood a stuffed bear about 5 ft
tall, it was a Black bear and on the placard it said that black bear killed 5 people before it was killed!

People stay away from these bears. The Black bears I'm told if they attack are out to eat you! Fight back.
The Grizzlies will usually attack you but if you play dead you have a better chance of staying alive.
But beware all bears are unpredictable!

These people are crazy allowing these black bears in that neighborhood. They are not sweet like in a Disney movie!

You can eat them you know. NetFlicks has a show called
ALASKA THE LAST FRONTIER. The people living there use the black bear meat in their freezer to survive the winter.

A bat wouldn't do you any good. The bears are a football team. Maybe against the Bad News Bears though.

A friend of mine lives a few miles away had bears in his garage and they wont remove them.
