Dallas Police Rule Change Gives Officers 72 Hours To Get Their Stories Straight After Shooting Citizens

Should be under the same laws that the citizens are under - So this rule allows the police higher protection then its citizens????

Did the government forget that they are a representative of its CITIZENS - If a Citizen shoots a law enforcemant officer does he get 72 hours to get his story straight - or is he arraigned and placed in jail?????

A government big enough to give you eferything ...IS strong enough to take everything you have.

The courts system needs addressed before the coppers can be dealt with, few judges have even a shred of integrity. The local circuit court here just appointed a judge that the voters refused to vote in as a judge, several times. The whole system is fucked.

You seem to be confused. People NEVER need to talk to the police.

A past GLP thread told about a killing by cops. The witnesses to the shooting were taken to the police station immediately at 3:00 am and questioned individually about what happened.

The three cops involved came in the next morning, sit in a room together viewed all the videos from the shooting and then sit together and filled out their reports.

What I want is a complete drug and alcohol screening
blood test including steroid testing with the results
made available to the public in officer involved shootings.

yet wham a detective interviews people at crime scenes they want to do it as soon as possible befor there mind starts adding things in. we rationalize to make scence of what happened

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS! The tech companies are in a race with google glass to make camera eyewear available (ie: headlines this morning talking about Samsung's bid to compete with google glass) to everybody affordably which means the corrupt cops have to make more and more laws protecting them from suit.

When you get your CCW one of the first things they teach you is if you ever have to use deadly force don’t say anything for what used to be 24 hours, the old police rule was 24 hours and if it was good enough for police it is good enough for you!! Same here if they get 72 hours you deserve 72 hours.

That said, the cops in the vid deserve jail time.
