weird. yesterday evening lukeskywatcher had a thread about him seeing the whole backside of the moon light up in a bright flash but he wasn't able to capture it on film. i had just looked at allskycam and saw this bright beam shooting out of the moon just minutes before, so i could vouch for him that he saw what he saw.
so today china is going to land something on the moon...
