OBAMACARE: White House telling Insurance Companies to cover those who have put plan in "shopping cart" | |

How many people want insurance through this Exchange and can't even get properly enrolled, even after three months of attempting to sign up? After being kicked off perfectly good, affordable plans that they liked? |

All the people hate it, and now after this latest move, the insurance companies, to a one, will be furious. The executives will be spitting mad, and that will trickle down to EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE of those companies. They will all start blaming Obamacare for every little thing now. This is so serious that I think the Obama crowd is broken and in a vengeful mood - paying back the insurance companies for charging these rates. They came in way higher then expected and the deductibles are outrageous. I think there is a serious fight on, we only get a little glimpse here and there. This thing is a horror story - nobody will win. Expendable average citizens are the biggest losers, as always. |

That seemed so extreme that it could only mean they were desperate and backed into a corner. |

As of January our premium is going up to $924 per month. Our policy is grandfathered in and not Obamacare. This is an individual policy, not employer paid. Instead of having a $2,500 reduction in our premium as Obama said would be the average, we are getting a $2,400 increase. I remember when I had a policy with $100 deductible and $100 per month premium for a family of three and you actually got health care. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48942725 My PT union job pays for my health insurance 100% no deductible $10 copay 100% for everything else. |

The insurance companies will have their executives jailed by Obama if they complain to loudly. But then maybe they should be jailed anyway for misrepresenting what the premiums would be and not providing a contract that the person was able to read before signing. |

Who would do that? Quoting: Econ 101 51592178 Did the Amazon customers ever intend on actually buying the books in their shopping cart? We can't know. What if the "customers" keep the books and still never pay? Who is on the hook, then? This will ensure that no new insurance companies will be willing to participate in the new Federal Health Insurance Exchanges... Thereby severely reducing choices of consumers by reducing competition among insurance companies... Thereby spiking rates on the exchange (that were already very high & unaffordable for most)... Thereby finally driving the proverbial train off the proverbial cliff... Think "Thelma and Louise" ending. [link to www.forbes.com] WILL YOU PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSE STFU ABOUT THIS LOSER!!! |

The companies will just bail. They'll know they can never get reimbursed legally for this coverage when people didn't actually sign up for their plans. No court will allow them to collect. If that happens, the resulting calamity will make Obamasocialistcare look like a kindergarten play. |

They just go on and on and on. An OP writes of the latest news of what a fuck cluster Obammy care is, a few other people write in confirming that it is indeed a fuck cluster, one or two others give their personal testimoney - 'I now have to pay $50,000 a year and my kid has a birthmark that looks like 666 on his right hand' - then another gaggle of geese jump-in honking with "Yassir, it shore bees bad, Yass, indeed' like elders supporting a Memphis Baptist church minister. We get it. It's fucked-up. It bees bad. lol |

I feel like I just moved to another country. This would infuriate me esp. if I was just "holding" a plan there for future reference as I was looking at others and hadn't made up my mind yet one way or the other. Man, get out your waders, the *hit's getting deep. |

Being unemployed how do they expect you to pay? I mean unemployment maybe lower in some states however those of us that are unemployed like myself can't afford to pay for Obamacare and what little money I do get from unemployment (which is ending in December) has to go towards house bills and my $300/month tuition that I have to pay just to attend school... I don't feel that it is right to be penalized on this bullshit. I haven't signed up for it and I'm not planning on it. |
