Images that appear to be a PORTAL TO THE SUN in the woods (including NASA Jan 1st) [NEW HIGHER-RES versions added]

So I came home from work tonight, saw that there was some sun activity so logged onto spaceweather and saw this:

The shape was interesting, where did I see that before? Oh yeah, look to the right on my tabs and see the imgur photo of your friend's portal from this morning.

There's this double arch thing going on in both of them. Do you know what time your friend took these pictures? Put the two pictures side by side in your tabs, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I know this whole thing has a lot of people shouting fake.

But what if these two things really DID happen at the same time. How cool would that be! What are the chances that we really DID find a portal.

I am a wedding photographer & after reviewing exif data, Im confirming this image was manipulated. Like I originally said, Photoshop!

But yeah, I will attempt to get an unadultered copy. I'm still trying to get the other 3 "portal" photos from that day as well. No promises, but I'll try. Then at least we can confine the topic to whether or not it's lens flare.

And who takes a photo of that scene anyway? Nothing much to look at, which is even more reason to believe the photog had intensions of taking the photo & then adding the "portal" after

Fake....cause if it were a portal we wouldn't be looking at these photos because he would have gone through.....wouldn't you?

Did anyone else notice that to the right of the "portal" there are three red dots in a triangle. I've never used Photoshop before but it seems that those dots could be some kind of aligning points.

Possible but I doubt it. The photographer would have no motivation to do that and has even stated he did not use photoshop. If someone would like to try and duplicate this effect, I'd love to see it.

i did not copy his flare with the cloning tool, i made a fresh one.
I did this by copying a small circle of the pic and putting it on its own layer, and using that bit to put a lens flare in from photoshop's render filter. the flare is round, so i stretched it to match his, and added a soft pink outer glow to it. nearly identical i think, and it took me about to minutes. Not saying his is fake, but it can be duplicated very easily in photoshop.

I know this are non bad intended pictures, and I agree they where not photoshopped.
