NASA warns of ‘potentially hazardous’ asteroid: 2013 YP139
A new, “potentially hazardous” asteroid has been discovered by one of NASA’s recently reactivated spacecraft – and it’s headed in Earth’s direction.

The new asteroid, called 2013 YP139, was spotted by NASA’s Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (NEOWISE), and marks the spacecraft’s first discovery since being resurrected last year.

According to the Telegraph, the asteroid is still 27 million miles (43 million km) away from Earth, but with a diameter of nearly half a mile (0.4 miles, to be precise), an impact with our planet would cause significant damage.

NASA estimates any asteroid with a diameter greater than 0.5 miles could create worldwide consequences upon impact.

The 2013 YP139 doesn’t quite raise concern to that level, but its trajectory has attracted the attention of NASA.

NASA lies more than the IRS.

You going to believe them on anything?

They even fake raw data.

NASA sources can't be trusted.

ROFL you guys are retarded. Nasa is lying about this? Just like they lied about ISON? ROFL You same people were the ones screaming that NASA was lying about ISON and it was headed straight for earth.....

Nasa is not trying to hide anything, if they were, don't you think we would be dead by now?

Think for yourself, stop listening to what the interwebz says is true, because it almost never is.

2013 YP139 is about 27 million miles (43 million kilometers) from Earth. Based on its infrared brightness, scientists estimate it to be roughly 0.4 miles (650 meters) in diameter and extremely dark, like a piece of coal. The asteroid circles the sun in an elliptical orbit tilted to the plane of our solar system and is classified as potentially hazardous. It is possible for its orbit to bring it as close as 300,000 miles from Earth, a little more than the distance to the moon. However, it will not come that close within the next century.whateverwhateverwhatever

NASA can never be trusted and I know, you all knows that (except for astronut).
Of course NASA was right about ISON, they were only trying to mess with your heads and ROFL on us.
I believe there is an object inbound and also believe that NASA knows the ETA (I guess it is at least 8 to 10 years maybe, away from us), but they will not risk global panic, that I'm sure.
This is all a question of pure logic, that's all.

Yea and the best conspiracies are the ones that may be true and have validity or things that MAKE SENSE. not look at everything the world does as a sign of secrecy. Theres a fine line between conspiracy and fear mongering. Claiming nasa has lied more than even 1 percent of the lies perpetrated hereby liars who say were being lied to? Talk about irony
