I'm not saying there isn't something in the snow due to pollution - But, really people? This is Chemistry 101. The snow doesn't look like it's melting because it's not dripping. This is because it's evaporating. The process is called sublimation. Incomplete combustion is why there is black soot on the snow. And, it smells like chemicals because of the fluid in the lighter, butane.

OK - a whistleblower is an insider that usually goes public with their information (risking their career) whereas an insider usually uses a reporter as an outlet (without risking their career).

I saw these EXACT same " holes" in my backyard as I was taking the dogs out to run and play. I thought it strange when I saw these holes in the snow add almost came back in the house to get my phone off the charger and video what I was seeing.

If you guys check your yards I'm.sure you will see them too! Now the black.stuff that leaked from the ice cube she burned ....well I live wayyyh out in the country and have well water. Even upon changing the filter I have noticed black pieces that come out of the tap. I do have several pics of that... but I've been giving the dogs bottled water and even brush my teeth and wash my face in the morning in bottled water when I'm running late and can't hit the shower.

PLEASE! folks ...run your tap water into a white bowl if you have some and see if these black pieces/ flakes come out of YOUR taps too. It is coming out of alIrhe pipes in all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. I think l this had gotten into our underground water sources and I would really like to know if anyone else in SW Ohio is experiencing this. I am looking into having our water and well tested as I've put some of this gross stuff in a plastic water bottle and saved for testing.

If anyone knows if it could possibly be something else plz let me know because this has me upset. Our water softener is under 5 yrs old and we had the well tested before we moved in and everything was OK so I'm not sure what these black pieces that seem to have tiny hairs could possibly be.
