Remember, it was Russia's Lenin that killed and or starved to death millions of Ukrainians to bring them into line. How can you be so far off? I didn't say anything about communism let alone that Russia and communism were synonyms. Old Russia was imperial like much of the rest of Europe. After it's royal dynasties were killed off, the vacuum of czar power was replaced by communist dictators.

Although Putin retired from the KGB as a lieutenant colonel following the chaos of the soviet breakup, he was appointed head of the FSB which was the domestic arm of the KGB by Boris Yeltsin who later vaulted him to president. So yes, he was KGB and did head the revived domestic arm of the KGB (the FSB) before becoming president.

I said nothing about forcefully fulfilling Revelation. Prophecy is not fulfilled because people force it to be. It happens in spite of what people do.

Lastly, you are just dead wrong in saying that "the book says even the most elect are deceived". It says the exact opposite. I didn't want to get into quoting scripture since it is useless to people who don't believe it but to prove what you said is just flat wrong, in Mathew 24:24 Jesus himself said that "false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the very elect". It doesn't say they are deceived. It says that great signs and wonders will be performed to deceive them if that were possible. Whether because of divine protection or just simply knowing the scriptures God gave us and having discernment, it may not be possible to deceive the elect.
