I have been sorely tempted twice, upfront, very aggressively. Passively hit on often. Do I think about cheating on my wife? Sure. But I also know that the dopamine release for sex is capped at a certain level, so it doesn't make much sense for me to cheat because the "high" will be about the same regardless of who I sleep with. Ergo, I remain faithful. |
