you can't convince me that these are aliens. Aliens wouldn't come dozens of light years just to fuck with us. the fuel/power expenditure to get here would be absolutely massive if they wanted to get here in a reasonable amount of time.

Another thing, if these are aliens, their home planet would have to be close. Humans have only been broadcasting radio signals into space for around 100 years, meaning that we have blanketed a 100 light year radius around the earth indicating that we are here. the aliens would have to be within that bubble or they would never know that we were here (the sun is a very average star they probably wouldn't have run across us by accident). now odds are in some time in their history the aliens would have invented communication technology that uses radio waves and would be spreading it from their home planet. in order to have the technology to travel between stars, they would have to be thousands if not millions of years more advanced than us and we would have been able to hear their transmissions on SETI and other radio telescopes. but so far there has been nothig but radio silence leading me to believe that these are not aliens.

You could definitely convince me that these are advanced/experimental aircraft, but not aliens.

They aren't from another part of the universe.
They are from another dimension.
If they are from our universe they are folding space/time.
You are correct, they aren't just getting in a spaceship and transversing the cosmos 'ala Star Trek.

hmm. That's slightly more believable i suppose. My only issue with that hypothesis is that the amount of energy to jump to a different dimension would be immense. if they jumped in anywhere near earth we would be able to detect it, they most likely would have produced an enormous amount of energy upon arrival.

No, beyond 4th and they are 'right on the edge' of Earthlings' normally visible spectrum. Many are already on this side permanently, and others keep popping in and out. Many sizes. Many types. Beautiful to observe. Day and night. Believe it.

UFOs have been documented performing manuveurs that defy what our current jet aircraft can perform. Turning instantly at 45 degree angles, appearing and disappearing, and so on. It's very naive to think that they use the same means of travel as us. They may well be interdimensional.

well it's certainly possible. however no matter where they are from, other dimensional or otherwise. in order to actually get to this star, they would have to expend massive amounts of energy. and we should be able to detect that.

I took video of this flying over Boston. Notice MIT is over the Charles River. It was in late March 2014 though taken from a high-rise window.
