Actually I took the responsibility for myself along time ago to become educated about threats of radiation, and how to protect my family. That is why we had measure already in place to protect ourselves when the plume from Fukashima hit my area.

I did not how ever get my information from movies, tv, or websites that have an agenda one way or another. Thus the reason that I can react not in a panicked hysterical way, but one that actually includes logic and reason.

Based on that logic and reason, this is not a situation that dictates the type of reaction so many on this thread are having.

I do understand that we need certain levels for our health and etc. However, when those levels get higher than what is natural and normal, then 'too much' can be concerning.

It seems there are a few camps, regarding the levels of radiation. On what is normal, and what is outrageously too high.

According to the following site, there are those in one camp who has the "we're all gonna die" hysteria... and those in another camp who do not feel there is enough of a problem to monitor the radiation levels at all.

And in a camp somewhere in between are governments with a tendency 'to cover up the truth to avoid panic and deflect blame for bad policy'. Such as, back in 2013, Japan was poised to pass a bill which would outlaw most reporting on Fukushima.

Now I ask you, if there was nothing to report here, all natural and levels are normal, etc etc......... WHY would any gov't feel the need to squash 'most reporting' on F'shima, or bother passing a bill to do that?

No, I absolutely do not. I believe the point that I am trying to make, is that this isn't a crisis situation. I do however find it interesting that by me pointing out some facts about the levels shown, you have somehow concluded that that equates to me trying to stifle truth. Is it possible that you have a history of making something out of nothing.

Aside from the map on the homepage, the site explains that all levels regarding their symbols have been 'downgraded' already since they were getting too high!

The real info is the CPM (counts per million) of each individual city.

From the West Coast to the East Coast, it's going from highs of 300 to 500.

Somebody on another site mentioned potassium iodide.

The problem is that potassium iodide is only good for one kind of radiation only, but doesn't deal with cesium or hot particles.

Warning: It should also not be taken for long lengths of time.

Try to stock up on canned foods which were packaged before things got this bad, which only happened, watchers say, as of May 23rd.

Canned juices, canned meats (not fish), canned milk (ugh, I know.)

But store milk evidently starts showing radiation really, really fast, as those cows digest radioactive grasses and hay supplies.

Stay away from fresh produce.

Find a source of healthy seaweed, algae, etc.

Put yourself on a cancer protocal right now, that's what we are doing.
