I though Snowden and Greenwald were supposed to release names?

greenwald made an announcement that he was going to release names, but by not saying exactly when he would release those names he implied that there would be another press conference where he would release the date by which he would release the date on which he would release the names.

it's a long process in this day and age of near instantaneous world-wide communications to release a list of names. it would be different is it was a "mass-shooter's" manifesto, though. that'll be released immediately.

The longer they wait, the more likely it's BS. They should've just BAM released it. They wouldn't have known where it came from.

Greenwald is more cautious about ramifications than Snowden would be I think. Snowden has no control now over what Glenn Greenwald releases and when. I imagine that's a bit frustrating for him.

Maybe something is going on "behind the scenes" that we don't know about.

2. people have been talking about constant surveillance as a theory long before Snowden confirmed anything. Are you new to conspiracy research? it seems like you're new because this isn't "groundbreaking" stuff... basically just confirmation of what most theorists already assumed.

Greenwald said he would release some names to give an example not all of them.

It was speculative as in 'are we in 1984 yet' but not concrete details about NSA forcing Google, Yahoo, etc to furnish all of our data. Snowden's leaks made it concrete. It matched our speculation and fears but before that we did not KNOW it was happening. Even Congress has said they did not know it was happening. NSA lied to the oversight committees constantly.

Anyone that had serious intentions of releasing anything would have released the entire thing on the net in multiple locations simultaneously.

These guys are obviously shills and distractions.

Greenwald, during an interview in May, said they are still compiling names, and getting all the info together.

At that time he said it should take 4 to 8 weeks, before It was ready to be released. That should put it in a June-July timeframe.

Shepard Smith announced the "end of the week". I Don't know where he got that info from.

Greenwald also said it's not a list of everybody that the NSA has gathered data on. That would be just about everybody in the US.

It is a list of people, who are being specifically "targeted", by the NSA, for one reason or another.

So, It could be a couple of days, or another month.

I'm not buying it. If they were serious, they'd release ALL of the raw data to the world, and then send out summaries as they had time to digest the data.

The important thing is to get all of these "secrets" out in the open and let the spy agencies try to justify it. I see little to no justification for any of this data to exist. If it does exist, everyone needs to know it.
