Don't ask me how I know this. Let's just say I'm a homeless man on the corner looking through the glass of the temple of the goddess of the deep ocean.

Every day I see them pass into the place of worship. They line up and pray that their names are written on the chalice.

They hand over their money. In return they are handed a steaming cup that will agitate their nerves and leave them unable to resist direction.
