If Bayou Corne becomes a pit or looking more like an open pit mine with a river flowing into it, I may become surprised.

Interesting how the Bushes and their buddies bought up so much South American land that has some of the biggest aquifers in the hemisphere.....planning is everything. Water will be like gold soon.

How close is this thing to a major town or city? I wonder at what point - if any - they talk about evacuation.

I'm unsure of the rate of which the salt dissolves but I do recall reading that water can only become so salty but...buuuuuuuuuuuut....there ARE tidal forces in the sink hole.....so there is clearly a connection with the Gulf of Mexico, at some depth..... so my expert bench warmer guestimate is...FiIK(Fuck if I Know) ;-)

Unless I missed more reliable sources, the Man in the vid said that they "think" or "believe"(I'd have to listen again to be sure which word he used) that it had entered the aquifer. Don't get me wrong, this is a horrific situation, one which is COMPLETELY out of control but Dutch is a money grubbin fear monger that doesn't exactly have the most stellar track record for fully verifying information before sensationalizing it & running with it. Also, the ONLY way that the Butane would explode, is if a massive quantity were suddenly displaced & pushed to the surface, all at once. In THAT scenario.....yeah, Hiroshima sized boomage & doomage.

The only real people are some of the ones you find here. All other Humans gave up their humanity years ago.

I see nothing new in this video, BUT...We've known this for quite some time.

Videos of the surface water showing tidal motions was posted way back ago......only way this is possible is if the sinkhole and ocean were connected.
