I posted as guitarist/vocalist and got two gigs in one month. Craiglist has actually gotten me more gigs than gigmaster that I had to pay 100 dollars for 3 months listing.

Yes. My husband is a licensed tradesmen and he got a job from Craigslist when we moved to Austin 4 years ago. We had only been there for 2 weeks when he was hired. He had one other interview that came from Craigslist during that time too.

I can do pretty much anything work wise however don't have "Experience" in certain fields which most seem to want. Who knows what is meant to be will be..

Whenever I have looked for a job on Craigslist I too ,have never been contacted back by even one over the years.The jobs I have had all came from people I knew and not one ever online.Good luck with your search.

You know that E-Bay owns a percentage of Craigslist now? They probably handle all the financial aspect of the business. Craigslist makes a ton of money through job ads and real estate listings.

Yup, 3 job interviews this month. Think it really depends on your city and how involved recruiting management is with CL.

i found one good job through craigslist, lasted almost 4 years. It was a few years ago, so I dont know if the site is still used by employers.

Yes I did! But it was years ago. Craigslist and employers are both a different place now.

It was my first office-based IT position and it was a really dumb company, but it gave me the industry experience to move on.
